Do we need a hero?

No, our society does not need a hero and even if we had a this hero what makes you think he can just solve all of our problems. Will that one hero fight our war for us? Will that one hero help provide food, clothes, and shelter for all the families living in poverty? The thought of it is nice and all but lets be serious here, the chances of that coming true is just not possible. Instead our society itself needs to change in order for all the issues to be resolved, to me its foolish how some people would expect or depend on one person to come along and just fix everything. One person cant fix the United States by themselves, everyone or at least the majority of the people living in America have to put in some type of effort into changing the way things are now in the U.S but i feel as if no one would want to put in the time and effort into doing so. People like the feeling of thinking theyre doing something helpful to their communities with all these protests and what not, but are they really benefitting from it? Maybe a little, a little isnt enough. Dont get me wrong i respect them for their efforts but again most if not all people in the U.S should be trying to do something to fix this mess, not waiting on a hero to fix a nations problems.

  2. I agree with you on the fact that we don't need a hero. People really could be heroes to themselves by helping themselves. A little more effort can result in a little more progress. Good, honest post man!

  3. I also agree and think that a lot more could get done if people worked together to bring about collective change.
